I started Your Invitation Awaits after 15 years of working in retail.  My management, purchasing, merchandising, and human resources experience helped catapult me into starting a business into which I can sink my teeth.  My love for beautiful paper and embellishments were magnified through my experience as the Visual and Merchandising Manager for The Paper Parlour in Atlanta.  That is where I honed my skills in designing exciting and creative invitations. 

I had the opportunity to design and make the bachelorette party, shower invitations, and wedding program for my sister.  And yes, they were exciting and creative.  Here I am, 7 years later, designing custom invitations for all party throwers who want a little something different - all while maintaining my primary and most rewarding job as a mother.
